In the winter La Raffine becomes a cosy getaway. Each home has been stylishly decorated enjoying beautiful views from sunny conservatories with the added romance of either a traditional log-burning stone fireplace or two charming log burning iron stoves. The swimming pool area is fully autonomous with comfortable sun-loungers and shaded seating under expansive plane trees. The spacious pool-house shelters a dining area with views of the olive trees and gardens, soft-seating in rattan sofas, a fully stocked zinc-bar, a modern hi-fi system and an additional refrigerator and ice-maker.
With several indoor and outdoor eating areas and two kitchens with full amenities, gastronomy often becomes the focus of the holiday. The world-class vineyards and numerous fresh open air markets in the vicinity provide the inspiration to indulge your culinary skills.
La Raffine is located nearby the picturesque village of Lacoste which enjoys panoramic views of the Luberon and a 12th century château, once owned by the Marquis De Sade and recently renovated by fashion designer Pierre Cardin who hosts an annual festival of théâtre and music every summer.
